Personal vehicles are the fastest way to get around the areas you have already opened up. Cars and the motorbike work as land vehicles, and boats and yachts as watercraft. Vehicles are bought as keys. Boats are also good for avoiding police patrols and local thugs. Vehicles can carry goods, but using them for smuggling is riskier than it looks.

How vehicles are used
- Land vehicles have no top-speed value in the game files. Editors report that they are used through quick travel: you can only travel to other unlocked and unoccupied parking spaces. Higher local reputation unlocks more parking-space travel points. See Fast Travel, Buses & Ferries and Reputation & Consequences.
- Boats travel between the docks on each island. You dock a boat to return to it later. Editors report that the larger yachts can only quick travel from pier to pier, at the piers marked with a white anchor on the map, when unlocked and unoccupied.
- The quest boat from Marcus needs an engine installed: the game has a "Fixed boat engine" quest item and warns if you do not have it on you. No engine item is listed for shop-bought boats. See Questlines & Missions.
- The vehicle base class defaults to a passenger limit of 4 and to a half-full tank for a newly owned vehicle. Large yachts travel along their route at a fixed yacht speed set in their class.
- Vehicles have locked doors and locked trunks, and the passenger space can be full.

Fuel
Vehicles and boats burn fuel; refuel with a Gasoline canister from your inventory. The stored fuel use is in litres per 100 km. Gasoline costs B1,500 per litre in both sizes.

Notes on the data
The muscle car and pickup truck are in the item table with stats but no shop, loot pool or reward gives them, so their availability is unconfirmed. The "Rib motorboat" appears twice with identical stats (KEY-VEH-RIB and KEY-VEH-RIB1), and the bicycle item (ITEM-VEH-BICYCLE_hid; a drivable bicycle class exists in the game files, but editors confirm bicycles cannot be used in game) and a test motorbike (TEST-KEY) are hidden entries with no source. Casino DLC and Christmas vehicles are excluded. The three cars all carry the same name "Car", so they are labelled here by size.
