Understanding drug effects, status conditions, and consumable items is essential for survival in Drug Dealer Simulator 2. Every substance you consume affects your stats, vision, and gameplay. This guide covers all status effects with their exact values from the game data.
Quick Reference
- Stimulants (Amphetamine, Meth, Cocaine, Crack) โ Boost Agility but raise Suspicion. Improve focus.
- Psychedelics (LSD, Mushrooms) โ Heavy visual distortion, massive Agility loss. High Suspicion.
- Depressants (Weed, Hash, Opium, Alcohol) โ Moderate Agility loss. Some boost Swag.
- Medical (Bandage, First Aid, Antivenom) โ Heal HP and stop bleeding.
- Consumables (Food, Water, Drinks) โ Restore stamina and provide buffs.
๐ Drug High Effects
When you consume drugs, you gain a "high" status that modifies your stats and vision. All effects wear off over time. Stacking doses increases the effect level.
๐ฅ Consumption Methods
Different consumption methods deliver different potency levels. Higher potency means stronger effects but also faster buildup toward overdose. Potency represents how much of the status bar fills per use.
๐บ Alcohol, Food & Drinks
Food and drinks restore stamina and provide beneficial status effects. Alcohol gets you drunk but also restores stamina. Managing hunger and thirst is important for maintaining peak performance.
๐ฅ Medical & Recovery Items
Medical items heal damage and stop bleeding. Always keep a First Aid Kit handy โ bleeding will kill you if left untreated. Antivenom is essential when exploring wilderness areas with snakes.
๐ฉน Injury & Environmental Statuses
These status effects are caused by combat, falls, weather, or wildlife encounters. They cannot be stacked (except Snake Bite and Soaked) and wear off over time.
โจ Beneficial & Lifestyle Statuses
These statuses provide buffs or minor side effects. Food makes you Sated, drinks make you Refreshed, alcohol makes you Drunk, and cigarettes give a nicotine high. All stack with repeated use.
๐ Stats Explained
Status effects modify your core player stats. Here's what each stat does:
Agility
Affects your movement speed and ability to run/sprint. Negative values slow you down significantly. At very low agility, you can barely walk. Critical for escaping police or rival dealers.
Suspicion (SUS)
How suspicious you appear to NPCs and police. Higher values make cops more likely to stop and search you. Some drugs (stimulants) drastically increase this.
Swag
Your street reputation appearance. Higher Swag improves how NPCs perceive you. Alcohol and some drugs boost Swag, while stimulants reduce it.
๐๏ธ Comfort
Your physical well-being. Injuries and getting soaked reduce comfort. Food and rest increase it. Low comfort affects your overall performance.
๐๏ธ Visual Effects Explained
Drug effects can alter your vision in three distinct ways. Values shown are the maximum intensity at full status bar.
๐ด Blur
Screen becomes blurry โ hard to read text and see details at distance. Caused by Snake Bite and LSD. Positive values = more blur. Negative = reduced blur (sharpening).
๐ Confusion
Camera sways and wobbles โ makes aiming and navigation difficult. Most psychedelics cause it. Positive values = more sway. Negative = steadier aim (focus).
๐ฃ Tunnel Vision
Screen edges darken โ reduces peripheral vision. Snake Bite causes extreme tunnel vision. Positive values = narrower FOV. Negative = wider FOV (expanded awareness).
- Stimulants for combat: Cocaine and Crack give massive agility boosts and improve focus (reduce confusion/tunnel vision), making them ideal before fights โ but they spike your suspicion.
- Eat before missions: Being Sated gives +5 Agility and +3 Comfort โ small but helpful buffs.
- Weed Edibles are dangerous: They fill 100% of the status bar in one use โ very easy to overdo it.
- Crack is short but powerful: Only 100 seconds but gives +40 Agility โ the highest agility boost of any drug.
- LSD and Shrooms are debilitating: -50 Agility plus heavy visual effects. Don't use them before important tasks.
- Always carry Antivenom in wilderness areas โ Snake Bite is the worst status with -40 Agility plus extreme visual effects lasting 5 minutes.
- Broken Leg is the worst injury: -80 Agility for 8+ minutes. Avoid high falls at all costs!
