Influencer Basics

Influencers are NPC's located around the map and can be identified by a red heart symbol, these influencers are key to progression within the game and therefore understanding how they work is important.

Influencers are the player's tool to unlocking new areas within the game, by approaching them and saying "I have a package for you (create an offer)" it will open a screen* for the influencer which will then allow the player to deposit drugs. You can deposit drugs to the influencer by first selecting the tick next to which drug you would like to give them. You can then decide how much of each drug you would like to hand over.

*If there are no drugs present on the player the game will refuse to open the influencers inventory screen and instead state "No drugs found in inventory. Come back with some drugs."

Influencers are found throughout the game and some require you to be introduced to them, for the sake of the story and spoilers I will not be talking about which quests are needed to be completed before you can properly interact with each influencer. Therefore this guide is much more useful to be continually checking as you play throughout the game and late game.

***IMPORTANT NOTE***
Each influencer is looking for certain drugs, this is important because influencrs increase the number of returning customers you get in their regions. By completely filling the requests from influencers you can gain access to the full amount of customers (which is useful when you have distributors set up) and therefore sell the maximum amount of drugs as fast as possible

Patch Updates

Boss Desk Update
With the most recent patch it is now possible to see this information using a boss desk.

The boss desk only displays the information for each type of drug once the sale of the drug has been activated which can be done by giving the influencer a package of the drug.

Sale of Drug Update
In a recent patch it has been made possible to enable and disable sale of drugs within each region.

Once at least 1g of a drug has been sold by an influencer it becomes possible to disable/enable the sale of that drug from that region's influencer. Originally sale of drug is set to enabled.

This can be useful for players as it gives more opportunity to streamline your drug selling empire.
