Money in Drug Dealer Simulator 2 is the bolivar (written B). Physical cash is a set of inventory items that take up space and weight, so how you carry it matters. Bank-style money is the wealth vault. Laundering itself is covered on Money Laundering.

Cash items
| Item | Capacity | Weight | Weight of a full slot | Cash per kg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cash (small) | B200,000 per slot | 0.005 g per B1 | 1 kg per full slot | B200,000 per kg |
| Cash (large) | B400,000 per slot | 0.002 g per B1 | 800 g per full slot | B500,000 per kg |
| Packaged cash (small) | B260,000 per pack (1 pack per slot) | 1.8 kg per pack | — | — |
| Packaged cash (large) | B600,000 per pack (1 pack per slot) | 1.2 kg per pack | — | — |
Large bills take up less space than small ones. Cash is never carried for free: the game shows "not enough inventory space for cash" when your slots are full.
How much space cash takes
| Amount | Small: slots | Small: weight | Large: slots | Large: weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| B100,000 | 1 | 500 g | 1 | 200 g |
| B500,000 | 3 | 2.5 kg | 2 | 1 kg |
| B1,000,000 | 5 | 5 kg | 3 | 2 kg |
| B5,000,000 | 25 | 25 kg | 13 | 10 kg |
| B10,000,000 | 50 | 50 kg | 25 | 20 kg |
Cash weight counts toward your carrying weight, which starts to slow you down at 21 kg (see Stamina, Health & Rest and Inventory & Special Slots).
Cash packs and large bills
- Crafting recipes let you vacuum-pack 260,000 small bolivars into one small pack or 600,000 large bolivars into one large pack, and unpack them again. Packs take one slot each: a small pack holds 260,000 in a slot that would otherwise need 2 slots, and a large pack holds 600,000 where loose large bills need 2 slots.
- A small pack weighs more than the loose cash it holds (1.8 kg against 1.3 kg), so packing saves slots, not weight.
- Cash (large) is listed at B1 per B1 in 32 shops (general stores, pawn shops, boutiques, hardware stores and more) with a limited daily stock. This appears to work as a way to swap small bills for large ones, but the tables do not spell that out.
Storing cash
- Safes in hideouts hold cash and other items (small safe 2 slots, medium 8, large 12). See Hideout Equipment.
- Dealers and other subordinates drop their takings into the hideout safe after a delay of 120 seconds, and you get a prompt to collect once they hold about B250,000.
- The wealth vault is a bank-style balance. You deposit cash into it and can withdraw from various shops. Hideout bills are paid automatically from the vault, so keep it topped up. See Bills, Debt & Running Costs.
- Cash also drops as loot from opponents, cars and warehouses. See Loot Tables & Dead Drops.
Risks to the cash you carry
- Thugs can demand your money, and being robbed costs 40 street cred. Thug road blockades are best avoided with money on you.
- Police stops can involve a B25,000 bribe, paid in cash.
- Police confiscate drugs and weapons on arrest. The game files do not list cash as confiscated, but editors have not confirmed this either way.
- Secret slots only lower the chance that items are found in a robbery or search, and a backpack's secret slots do not protect them; see Wanted Level, Militia Raids & Arrests.
Currencies
The game files define the bolivar (value 1) and a second currency identifier, dollars, valued at 65 bolivars. Every price in the current files is written in bolivars and no interface string contains a dollar sign, so this page uses B only.
Not found in the game files
There is no separate "dirty cash" item, no cash weight beyond the item weights above, and no confirmed rule that police search your cash. The only "dirty" money in the files is the test laundering machine flags.
